Today we met Nana Gail at Duyck's Peachy Pig Farm in Hillsboro to go pick some fresh peaches and see the animals! It was beautiful weather for peach pickin'! Taylor rode on Trask's back and loved eating his own peach while we gathered more. We saw lots of chickens and baby chicks, a couple horses, and some newborn piglets just born hours earlier. Taylor was much more interested in the tractor tires than the farm life, studying the tractor's hub very carefully until I made him move on.
After the farm we went out to lunch with Nana and Taylor made friends with our waitress. Who wouldn't love the woman who brought us out a huge, warm peanut butter cookie topped with vanilla ice cream?!
Needless to say, we had a busy couple hours and Taylor and Trask were both ready for a nap on the couch as soon as we walked in the door!!
Thanks for the great day, Mom/Nana!! We love you!!

Last weekend was the Rogers' Family reunion in Oregon City. We all had a blast, and it was the first time Taylor met a lot of his family that don't live close by. Friday through Sunday was spent laughing, eating, talking, and chasing Taylor and McKenna around the house, backyard and everywhere else they wandered off to. It was nice to have family help corral them. :) We loved our time spent with all the family, especially Grandpa Rogers, Baby Rylan, Cousin Chad & Eileen, Cousin Sam & Travis, Aunt Elaine, Uncle Bob, Auntie Berdie and Taylor's new favorite guy, Uncle George. Taylor has hung out with George lots before, but this weekend he was in awe of him the entire weekend. He copied everything George did (uh oh!), and had a ball playing chase with him, and making funny faces at one another! We also had the pleasure of spending time with Summer & Aaron's newest addition, Curly Sue, their 1966 AirStream trailer. How fun!! We sure were pooped after having fun with so much family, but had enough energy to eat at Fuddrucker's... the most amazing place I have encountered in a long time. Oh how I miss it already...
Enjoy the pictures. One is of Trask, Summer and the kids by Curly Sue. The other is Taylor hanging out with Sam. Aren't they too cute?!
